Our rigid board or Foamex is available in both 5mm and 10mm and is made from PVC. This board is extremely tough and durable, suited for short, medium and long term use both inside and out, making it our most frequently requested board for interior and exterior signage, point of sale, exhibitions, conferences and displays. Add to this our UV safe inks and choice of lamination and you end up with a durable, long lasting mounted board.
Rigid board is our most popular mounted board material as it is versatile, economical and ideally suited to sign making. Made from a solid plastic sheet of PVC it has a smooth white even surface that ensures high quality images. Rigid board can be matt or gloss laminated for added durability and is suitable for short and medium term indoor and outdoor use as it is both 100% weatherproof and hardwearing. It does expand and contract with changes in temperature so care should be taken when mounting outdoors.
Available in four thicknesses – 1mm, 3mm, 5mm and 10mm, our standard rigid board is white, but other colours are available with the most popular being yellow, red and black.
